The Cheesy Reliquary
If we’ve got one thing to be thankful for in 2020, it’s the explosion of quality cheese eating in our country. We Brits have gone mad for cheese this year, as all these artisan cheesemakers who used to sell their good stuff to posh restaurants, which are now closed, have started selling direct to us ordinary citizens.
I’m privileged to know cheesemonger Ned Palmer, who has given great cheese recommendations this year. He features on next weeks episode of Persons Of Interest, but for now this is your chance to win the cheese voted the best in Britain in time for your Christmas table.
Included is the delicious Renegade Monk from Feltham's Farm. See Penny and Marcus picking up their awards below.
If you can cope with watching me speak for four and a bit minutes, here is my first speech in the House of Lords. I hoped to describe Wyre Forest and big up Bewdley Civic Society, but debate time was cut. I’ll find another opportunity to do this in the new year.
